California High School ist eine von Sam Bobrick entwickelte US-amerikanische Sitcom, die am 20. August 1989 erstmals auf NBC veröffentlicht wurde. Die deutsche Erstausstrahlung begann am 2. Januar 1994 auf RTL 2. Die Serie ist die Fortsetzung der Sitcom Good Morning, Miss Bliss.
Im Fokus der Serie steht das Leben einer Gruppe Schüler an der Bayside High School in Kalifornien. Zack, Kelly, Slater, Screech, Lisa und Jessie leben in Palisades Hills, einem Vorort von Los Angeles und machen die typischen Probleme Heranwachsender durch. Sie setzen sich mit Themen, wie Schule, Liebe, Freundschaft, Sex und Problemfeldern, wie Alkohol, Mobbing und finanziellen Engpässen auseinander.
